Feedback from a new client website

It is always good for the heart and soul to receive good news

Back in July of 2019 I received a Facebook message from a lady who said she needed help with her husbands website. Judith had previously seen a design I posted on Facebook but couldn’t find it, or me, again. Luckily she noticed a another Facebook post I did and, without hesitation, immediately got in touch.

Judith’s husband Peter runs his own carpentry business over in Ripponden, Halifax. Peter has over 40 years experience hand crafting traditional period doors for old buildings, listed buildings, converted barns and chapels. If your house fits in to one of those categories, I’d recommend taking a look at their website pictures, they are wonderful.

They had previously employed a web developer to create their website. The developer decided to use Squarespace. A fairly basic online website hosting platform. And that’s what their website looked like. To be honest, it was terrible. And it wasn’t even indexed with Google!

Tony’s attention to detail and support has been fantastic

Cutting the long story short, the website is finished and is now live, and as you do, ask for some feedback that you could use, eg now! 🙂

Here’s what Peter and Judith said:

“We found Croft Mill Marketing purely by chance one day and liked some of the website designs Tony had created as we were unhappy and had been let down by our previous website designer we contacted Tony and asked for his help. At our first meeting Tony took on board what we were looking for and explained what would work best for us, his first initial design reflected this and together we created a website which we are extremely happy with. Tony’s attention to detail and support has been fantastic – Thank you”

With mental health all over the media right now, this is so prevalent, it gave me a great endorphin boost and a smile wider than a Jumbo A380! (A double decker plane to those who don’t know. Don’t worry, I had to Google it too.)

Even better, I posted Judith’s feedback on my LinkedIn account and an experienced creative designer and front-end web developer responded with his feedback too:

Looks clean, easy to read, white space and backgrounds a must for product websites ✔️ It does help that the Meakins logo is stylish, it’s a nice focal point to a neat website. Maybe a bit more height spacing between the sections, more of a divide ??

You can check out Peter and Judith’s new website at www.meakinsheritage.co.uk and if you would like to send me any feedback on the website, I would love to hear from you. You can email me, connect with me on LinkedIn or Facebook, or use the contact form.

So, if you have an existing website that you are not happy with, it’s not doing its job and not getting any results, then please get in touch. I would be more than happy to help you turn a corner and start taking new steps in the right direction, finishing with a wonderful new website design you would be proud to show the world. Along with a smile wider than a Jumbo A380!

Thanks Tony.
